I believe that Bruce Lee is correct when he said that "styles" are a "crystallization" to be avoided because the purpose of Martial Art is to express YOURSELF through (meditative) movement whether practicing martial arts by oneself or whether in "hand-to-hand"combat. This is why I call it "Progressive Wing Chun" instead of "Traditional Wing Chun." Practitioner's Wing Chun forms should evolve & progress over time. I have been practicing Wing Chun for 7 years. I am a disciple of Wing Chun, not a Sifu. Wing Chun has helped me with anxiety & depression management in addition to freeing me from addictive use of alcohol because Wing Chun is a form of "Mindful Meditation In Motion." For this reason I offer to teach Wing Chun to adults as a form of meditative movement to those who seek a deeper state of peace, and also to those who are fighting an addiction of any kind. I live in Kansas City, Missouri, so I offer Wing Chun tutoring to adults in the Kansas City metropolitan area. I hope that my website is helpful not only to my current & prospective students but also to other Wing Chun enthusiasts. Peace be with you.
